Poetry Competition
Launched in lockdown, 2021, our Poetry Competition is a great way to get your students writing. Together with a set of activities to support your teaching of poetry, this is a combo to turn pupils into poets.

There’s nothing like being up and close and personal with someone whose work you respect. Breakfast with a author allow students to meet, greet and eat with one of the many amazing authors we have in our community.

WE Magazine
A literary journal especially for Waitaha students. We are so proud to be able to offer a place for our regional talent to be showcased. We are looking for engaging literary writing (stories, personal essays, poetry) and beautiful art and design from Year 7 to 13 Cantabrians.
